Fabulous time by the River

Well what a perfect day down at St Winnow Church on Sunday!

Intrepid voyagers boarded kayaks and boats to come to the St Winnow River Service which was held in the churchyard on a warm and beautiful day.  Young and less young alike came together (mainly by car if we're honest) for a fun service by Revd Sheila Bawden and followed by a great barbeque, which also included a mass of delicious salads.    Few people wanted to leave and it was only the tide that sent the river-travellers on their way.
